Tears

Who said tears are bad and tears are only for women.  Guys are teased if they cry.  I really wonder why they think that tears are only for the weak.  I was reading an article earlier and let me crop some paragraphs sot that men and women alike will be more educated about tears.

  • Tears are necessary to wash human nearsightedness and egotistic perstpective.  Tears are experession of regrets, memories, and anticipation.
  • Shedding tears of of regrets is just a normal way of accepting personal vulnerability and finiteness.
  • Tears of memories are expressions of our identity with the past and its people and circumstances.
  • Tears of anticipation should motivate us to act decently and righteously.

Personally, when i feel so much heavy inside and nobody fights me so i could cry, i watch movies just to release tears of tension.  I love the feeling afterwards.  Stress are to be release to keep one’s sanity.  Right?

Am feeling a bit blue earlier but since i worked so hard in clearing up a part of my office so that the office furniture of my new companion will be set there in coming days. There will be 3 more people who will join me and my bosses in using this office. weehehehe.  It’s not going to be totally sad anymore. :)

Prevention is Better than Cure

I just finished reading a bit about Swine Influenza (flu) and it was clear that the virus is not spread through eating pork products.  But it would not be bad if people will abstain eating fresh pork products of last week until a year later.

People who work closely with fouls and swine are at higher risk of acquiring the virus and become a host then carrier.  So one way to lessen the risk is to often thoroughly washed hands with germ killing soap.  Since the symptoms are just similar to having a seasonal flu, so washing the hands should be constantly practiced – young and old should do this.

Now i am beginning to understand that even though i haven’t eaten pork all my life, but was or will be in hand contact with someone who is a carrier, then i can and my family can get sick, too.  So for now, i think it’s cool to do the following:

1.   Abstain from meat eating for now.

2.  Abstain from dairy products til the virus scare goes away.

3.   Eat a healthy diet (fruits and vegetables)

4.  Exercise for a strong body (strong immune system)

5.  Avoid lack of sleep to avoid weaking the immune system.

6.  Avoid overcrowded public places.

7.  Take lots of vitamin C.

8.  Wash hands regularly.  If possible, carry sanitizers so that you can sanitize your hands after accessing public places.

9.  Orient the kids on what to do in this time of virus scare.

10.  Be responsible enough to be aware and be updated on what’s going on regarding this health scare to avoid unnecessary worries.  At most times it’s the worry and stress that kills not the swine nor bird flu virus.

Don’t Take Diarrhea Lightly…

because diarrhea has previously been proven that it affects the growth and physical fitness and lately they discovered that it also affects mental ability especially children.

Scientists from the University of Virginia observed hundreds of children living in a Brazilian shanty for 14 years.  They found out that infants who were often sick with diarrhea exhibited stunted mental development at the age of 10.   It was then concluded by the researchers that while these children with ill with Diarrhea, their bodies could not absorb certain vital nutrients.

So parents, don’t take diarrhea lightly.  Always be sure that whatever is fed to the kids are clean and will not make their tummy sick.
