The Need for a Rehabilitation Center

Here in our little city the need for a rehabilitation center is obviously spent.  This are is small but we observed that many are just into drug addiction and alcohol addiction that when they reached their forties they are already hard to be managed by their families.  There are those who willingly give in to drug rehab but not here in our city.  They still have to spend much money for travel and accommodation in that far away land.

Fortunately here within our community there is no one with a drug or alcohol problem.  I was talking with a cousin last night and she mentioned that in her unit, they had a hard time stabilizing a guy who ran out of the drug and alcohol rehab weeks ago.    I guess with so many rehabilitation all over the country, they have not found the center that will surely cater to the need of the person admitted.

A drug rehab or any rehabilitation unit is not just simply a rehab.  It has a great mission to do in treating the people who needs to be treated from addiction.  These addicts needs to stick to their goal yet they have a hard time so the rehab staff should have the all out spirit to help these people stick to the program.    Treating someone of addiction is sort of a give and take situation.  Both must meet halfway or else the goal to become well will not be fully achieved.

Drug addiction does not happen if you have a healthy self disposition.  Often times, these people with drug addiction problem have problems way way beyond in what can be seen in their appearance.  These people have emotional ailments and  physical ailments thus they are prone to pain relievers and sleeping pills.   With this kind of lifestyle, they are easily drawn to alcohol use to mask off what is really happening in their lives.   From an ounce to a bottle a week to daily basis until they can’t sleep or relax without drinking alcohol.  This is already a hightime to realized that you need an alcohol rehab.

If you someone needing a help on drugs and alcohol addiction then The Drug Rehab might be the best place for you.  Call 800-380-6812 for more inquiries.

Common side-effects of Anti-Allergy Pills

For some years now, i used pills to protect me from allergy.  When i knew that am going to eat something that is high in protein i swallow 2-3 small pills of anti-histamine hoping that later in the day i won’t get itchy.  Yesterday i forgot to take the pill so i only took it early this morning.  Now am very very sleepy yet i need to check out the industrial supplies available that we could use in the maintenance department.  Since we have an additional new building, then they are looking for new equipments for maintenance of the place.

Now am off to doze for an hour or so…I just can’t bear it anymore.

Furniture Shop

The other week, together with some teachers,  we went around SM Cagayan de Oro City.  Some  went  shopping grabbing the Independence  Day sale  with 50% discount  on footwears!  Some  bought 3 pairs to the max.  Very  go0d  quality footwears  at 50%  price value.  It was a chance  grabbing  for.   Some  of us  enjoyed at the furniture shop  where they showcase  outdoor furniture that  is great for personal use at home and for corporate set up.  They also have  indoor furnitures that  some thought of buying one if it was on sale.

For me,  window shopping is a  stress reliever. :)

Most Important Meal

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!  A good breakfast should contain the most calories of any of the day’s meals.  Try to eat foods high in protein and complex carbohydrates.  Include some fruit if possible.

A cup of coffee and pastry will not give you enough energy or endurance for your activities of the day.  Don’t skip it!  Try to eat a sensible lunch and a very light supper.  This will give you energy and help you to sleep better at night.

Taking Care of My Eye

Am few years off my forties yet i started to take more care of my eyes by using glasses.  I have a stigmatism in my right eye and i hope it gets better by the early use of glasses.  In my childhood i thought a person that wears glasses is more beautiful and looks so smart yet i wished to wear one when i reached 40 yet.  But now, am not yet 40 yet — here’s me!

Never mind my puffy eyes – just take note of new pair of glasses. :)

Have You Thought About Elderly Care?

For me I have.  As the years go by it can’t be avoided that my parents will get old or very old.  Luckily in this country, we have the tradition to take care of our parents right at our own home until they go to rest forever. But with the many pressures in life i sometimes wonder about elderly care.   Elderly homes round here is not very common like it is in the United States.

An aunt who is working in a nursing home can see nursing home services so she is contemplating that maybe inthe future she won’t come home to the Phlippines but spend retirement years over there.   Many of these nursing homes care for our elderly patients with care that we children cannot 100% give because of our work and other cares in life.  So she said that with an open mind, elderly care in a nursing home is not bad.

How about you? What’s your view on elderly care away from your home?  The next time you think about elderly care and would like to find a nursing home then don’t forget elderly care.
