Most Important Meal

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!  A good breakfast should contain the most calories of any of the day’s meals.  Try to eat foods high in protein and complex carbohydrates.  Include some fruit if possible.

A cup of coffee and pastry will not give you enough energy or endurance for your activities of the day.  Don’t skip it!  Try to eat a sensible lunch and a very light supper.  This will give you energy and help you to sleep better at night.

Taking Care of My Eye

Am few years off my forties yet i started to take more care of my eyes by using glasses.  I have a stigmatism in my right eye and i hope it gets better by the early use of glasses.  In my childhood i thought a person that wears glasses is more beautiful and looks so smart yet i wished to wear one when i reached 40 yet.  But now, am not yet 40 yet — here’s me!

Never mind my puffy eyes – just take note of new pair of glasses. :)

Have You Thought About Elderly Care?

For me I have.  As the years go by it can’t be avoided that my parents will get old or very old.  Luckily in this country, we have the tradition to take care of our parents right at our own home until they go to rest forever. But with the many pressures in life i sometimes wonder about elderly care.   Elderly homes round here is not very common like it is in the United States.

An aunt who is working in a nursing home can see nursing home services so she is contemplating that maybe inthe future she won’t come home to the Phlippines but spend retirement years over there.   Many of these nursing homes care for our elderly patients with care that we children cannot 100% give because of our work and other cares in life.  So she said that with an open mind, elderly care in a nursing home is not bad.

How about you? What’s your view on elderly care away from your home?  The next time you think about elderly care and would like to find a nursing home then don’t forget elderly care.
