hah, this is my lola’s favorite! when she cooked ginataang langka and i would ask her kung ano ang ulam, sagot nya lagi ay baboy (LOL).

Oh! one of my favorite. Makakamiss ang pinoy dishes tuloy…:))
I usually make this with turmeric powder, ganun kasi gumawa ang parents ko. And I know all pinoy dishes talagang masarap.

@Jan – halos araw araw meron rin yan dito sa canteen at the karenderia across the school but i dont eat this daily. it would be too heavy for my heart. you know na..the oil of the gata. :)

@Cai – ayy drool mo lang! I bought that two dozens and i wanna taste one kaso lang di pwede buksan para tikman. hahaha. I just can’;t afford another dozen of it for personal use eh. Buti the week after that i saw the one packed by twos. tag twenty plus lang.

@Luna – my mom’s favorite too. At times in place of jackfruit, squash ginagamit ng mom ko. and if there’s dried fish na pinakas linalagyan din.

16. arlene commented on February 21, 2010 at 3:51 pm

@Nede – turmeric in it? Hmm id like to try that. That will sort of give me an indian dish. :)

17. arlene commented on February 21, 2010 at 3:52 pm

18. arlene commented on February 21, 2010 at 3:54 pm

@Ate Agring – hmmm masarap maging panamis pag hinog na ang langka. use the young ones for this kind of dish.
