Muscle Building

Some of the guys here at my end are into muscle building.  I observed that the gym is got more crowd now than before.  Years back, most of the people exercising are ladies, but now, there are quite a number of men, lean men, and their aim is to building their muscles. I saw a few who are already 3 months into the program and i can see improvements already. I bet they have read reviews or tips on how to build muscle fast . I know there is no shortcut way to tone the muscles. It takes always time and sacrifice to persevere. That is why those few who were now in the third month of the program are doing well.

I See Pink!

But as i wrote this post, the screen is white but still i can see pink.  Those who saw my screen will really say that my monitor’s color can be very damaging to the eyes.  But i know soon, very soon, this will turn ok as my request for a new monitor has been approved already and i gave it to the Computer Dept head for purchase.  I asked him to purchase it for me because he knows better.  When it’s about computer stuff then i can’t say i can be good in choosing the right product or brand but when it comes to wedding accessories id really offer my services. But of course i’d ask my other girl friend who loves cutie stuff to go along with me.

Food Photography

I love taking making food my photo object.  But as i take pictures of them my stomach also growls.  It’s been awhile since the last time i took pictures of food maybe that means it’s been awhile since the last time we prepared so much food for a visitor. :-)

2 nights ago, Dimple and I had dinner at a Jollibee junction not very far from the hospital.  It was a good walk going there and after eating we walked back to the dorm, too.  It was a nice feeling that i told her we should do some walking (as form of exercise) some evenings during weekdays.

I like evening time because I can’t see the dust. lol!  And it’s not hot, either.  But my companions are not interested of evening because they have late classes.  I don’t like mornings too because i sleep late.

Anyways, i missed gym again for two days now.

Health Tips by Tetta Matera

When i have time, i do take time to browse through the newspaper.  It’s not the same thing reading articles online and really holding on to material and settled comfortably in your chair or couch.  Last April 7, i got interested with this health article by Tetta Matera on the benefits of Exercise.  She entitled her write-up “It Ain’t Enough to be sknny, you gotta be Healthy.  The article is long and i don’t have the plan of copying the whole article word for word because i need time to check on some home insurance quote for my cousin who really have to see the dentist today. She told me that since i will be in office with the internet connection so she asked me the favor to do it for her. I will print them out later.

I am on and off from the gym even though I have a lot of unwanted fats to lose – really lose if i want myself to be fit.  Been doing on and off gyms for less than a year already (i was into it before and stopped it for more than a year and i just gone back last December) because i fall to Ms. Matera’s thought – i lacked the focus. She said:

Exercise is a commitment, not a hobby. A lot of people exercise at one point in their lives, failed miserably and gave up eventually without any long-term benefit because they did not make exercise a regular part of their lives.

I think so she is right. If we made “eating” an integral part of our living life, then i guess we should make “exercise” as part of our daily life, too.   She gave out the following practical tips on how to be healthy fit:

  • Have the right motivation and stay focused (i am slowly into this since December)
  • Start slow but set goals ( i have lost 10 pounds from December to March and i hope to lost the same amount 3 months later)
  • Wear the right shoes and clothes ( i bet i don’t have the right shoes but still am enjoying my gym time)
  • Warm up, cool down.
  • Drink and eat right (I am trying to do this right)
  • Listen to your body
  • Make exercise a regular component of your lifestyle (I vow to seriously do this from now on)
