Tis the Season

In just a couple of days, January is over and February will begin.  February has 28 days only meaning March is just around the corner.  It is an exciting waiting for the graduating students of any courses.  They are excited that they finish school yet they are also anxious what lies ahead – what lies after graduation.  Some said, better are schooling days because they still receive allowances.  Once done or once graduated, parents expect you to go out and find work and take care of yourself.  So what if you can’t land a job?  So you go back depending on your parents?  Does not sound very likable.  Right?  For others whose plans seems to work out just fine, they try to save the date cards they collected in college. It’s a nice memorablia from a roommate or a club.  It is a nice item for family gatherings or batch gatherings.

Tis the season for graduation soon!  Tis the season to make invitation programs.

FTF & FF – Squash Delight

I love squash and there are also others who don’t.  For FTF and FF this week, let me share with you a recipe which i think even those who don’t love to eat squash, can have a taste of this heavenly yellow food.

All you need to have is squash, a little flour, 2 pcs eggs (beaten), and oil for dip frying.

1. Slice the squash thinly (but not so thin)

2.  Powder the sliced squash with flour and then dip in beaten eggs.

3.  Deep fry.

Then prepare your plate or a container covered with an absorber.  I used disposable table napkin to absorb the oil:

4.  Cooked and drained.

And now here is the FINISHED PRODUCT. Ready to be eaten:

My friends and i had this for dinner one evening last week. =)

I am Fat!

and i wish that i am not! :D for 10 years now i am like a see-saw in my hope to get back to my waist line of 24 the most and ideal weight of 120.  But it never came.

Looking at my past photos, i realized that I am not as big as i was when i left my marriage and when i left for China a year later, but i feel more uncomfortable now.  I have a hard time breathing when climbing up the stairs, i can hardly breath comfortably when seated very low, and i cannot reach my toes anymore.  And thinking about losing weight gives me anxiety because i felt it is too hard.

I thought of running.  A friend encourages but she suggested i go on diet first, so that i could run comfortably.  Another thing to do also is to have a check with the doctor if it is safe for me to run.  I think so it is still safe because i have no BP problems yet.

Oh Arlene, please be good to yourself.  I am sure that you will be a happier and prettier and sexier Arlene, if you lose weight.
