Someone asked me what was my last gift for my dad.  I was taken aback.  It’s a question i never expected to hear because my vivid memory of a gift for my father goes back to the 90′s when i was still in college.  And the last was a cook book.  But then i never heard a single thank you from him.  When i was in far away college, every occassion I sent him greetings or gifts but no word of acknowledgement from him.  To the point when i grow up so big i just stopped doing it. lol!

Anyway, i had the time of browsing for an early christmas gifts for dad and i found so many. There are wine holders, cuff links, frames, suits, neckties, necklaces, bracelets, serving sets, wishing candles, and etcetera. The catalogue list is just so endless that I am going to share this info to my friends because am sure they can order now gifts for birthdays and anniversaries.

When i get bored doing my online tasks and facebooking, i go to blogthings to answer quizzes. I know most of them are not true. Just merely coincidenc but it’s nice reading them. Who knows they might be real.

I took the pearl test and of all the given colored pearls, the white attracted me most. I remember the pearls i bought in Qing Huang Dao when i visited the place before traveling back to the Philippines for good. So let me share you the pearl test personality result:

I am not a perfectionist but i don’t like wishy washy kind of work.  I am not perfectionist but when am in the mood, i am a very bad critic.  I am hardworking and I am organized my way.

When i got out with friends to a new place to dine or just have a snacks, the first thing that always impresses me is the ambience.   I love rustic furniture, a color of a warm place, with soft music in the background or a sound of live jazz in the front. I think it’s a great way to relax after a stressful afternoon. Rustic colors eases the stresses of the mind because of it’s relaxing effect to the eyes. It is not a gloomy atmosphere but rather a warm one. There are just other colors that instead of relaxing a mood, it uplifts the mood to the point one can never relax when he or she needs relaxation.

The weather is very cold here in our woods and i want the room to be a bit darken so that i can have a deep sleep. It’s a lazy Sunday. Not that i don’t have things to do (i have a long list) but i just feel i don’t have enough feel to do it.

Am a procrastinator queen.

For a long time, Starbucks is just a name i hear my friends mention.  It’s just a name i read on social magazines.  It’s just a name i often hear from coffee lovers’ lips.  But last Sunday, it was no longer just a word I heard because i was at one of the outlets in Mindanao and that one was in Cagayan de Oro City.  Thanks to my classmate who decided to have coffee time there instead at other coffee shops.  I had a great experience at SB so maybe next time, i’ll venture to go in (even when am alone) at other coffee shops to see if they got modern coffee tables . I was talking to my daughter now and she too heard there is now a Starbucks outlet at Lim Kit Kai Mall and she asked if it was really expensive. I said if you have money, it’s not expensive. But if you got none, then even the cheapest of their coffee you can’t have it.

I promised her that one day I will bring her there.
