Food Friday & Food Trip Friday 103: Kinilaw
This is one of my orders yesterday during the Admin treat of our Week of Prayer speaker. I dunno how that tastes because there were other fish dishes that I enjoyed much. Besides I am so much fun of Kinilaw so I really did not take time to ask for a serve.
Oh this is the Kinilaw at Crisvhen Chicken House.

Looks delicious.
Am looking forward to the day when abalone abound in the waters of Bohol. I’d then have them prepared as kinilaw.

I’m not really fond of kinilaw, but I would love to try either chicken kinilaw or fish kinilaw just for the experience. Here’s my entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2012/02/birthday-blowout-at-kangaroo-jack/

my mom is not a fan of anything raw (except maybe if it’s supposed to be eaten raw, like fruits, lol) so we didn’t have this when i was growing up. however, when i lived in Mindanao most of the neighbors were so into kinilaw…and i must admit, one of them makes a really YUMMY kinilaw (he mentioned that he also adds gata)…i still don’t order this unless i know that the restaurant is well known for really good kinilaw. lol. haba ng comment ko! LOL
thanks so much for sharing over at Food Friday, ‘Lene!
