Have You Talked to Your Therapist Today?

Beauty therapists are professionals who know how to make someone look their best with a professional demeanor and touch. Their job is to find the best products and techniques for your face and body. Like any other therapist, beauty therapists develop a close, personal relationship with their clients.

Qualities of a Good Beauty Therapist

The number one ability a beauty therapist needs is the ability to communicate. In this business, one will deal with clients of all ages, sexes, and different backgrounds, assessing what level of communication is necessary for relaxing the client. Five other qualities found in professional beauty therapist’s are:

1.   Hospitality: Making people feel welcomed and at ease.

2.  Honesty: Making realistic statements and expectations on regimens the client needs.

3.  Discretion: Keeping the personal information of the client confidential.

4.  Listener: People do not always state issues or needs directly, so listening carefully gives attention to the client and lets one assess their needs more fully.

5.  Highly skilled: A professional who has obtained credentials and makes it their personal business to do best practices.

Client Consultation

Beauty therapists offer a variety of services. Consultations involve lifestyle checks such as active or sedentary, smoking or nonsmoking, short medical history, diet assessment, and face and body assessment. The client and the professional together will decide what issues to work on and how. It is not unusual to consult on the phone with a beauty therapist on options as one lives their daily life. There are apps that can help keep one on a beauty regiment.

Presta is an internet company that lets a person rent tech devices such as tablets and cell phones. Once the beauty therapist gives a client an evaluation and regiment input the information into an app on a phone or tablet. Presta lets one pay a small weekly fee for the use of an electronic device making keeping track of information and using technology painless.

Why Bother

Many people have a job in the public eye or must entertain a variety of clients. Life is busy and it is often hard to find time to try the latest techniques or beauty products. Using a beauty therapist lets that part of your life become taken care of in a regular way and relieves stress. Knowing that a professional is taking care of that part of you leaves you time to concentrate on the things that matter most in your life or to concentrate on aspects of your job that cater to the client. A beauty therapist is not going to make you into someone else, but simply make you look and feel your personal best.

Bath Salts: Bring Home Present

Last year, when  a friend arrived from Bangkok my bring home present was a pack of bath salts . It took me sometime to use it because i seldom have time for leisure bathing. So if I plan for a leisure bath, i usually do it at the end of the day when everybody is done showering and ready for sleep. At first i do my laundry and then later, it’s my turn to bath myself. Scrub here and there and using a bit of the bath salt for foot exfoliation. I often wish we got a bath tub here but that’s a luxury if we have one.

Sometime my friends and I decided to enjoy a night at a hotel and guess what’s our ultimate goal? To have fun in the tub and use bath salts that will relax our moods. Then we finish the night away by watching girly movies. ^^

Bath salts is a nice “thinking of you” present for girl friends.

Lovely Tan

I am going out this weekend in a far away place and i wonder if ever i will have a golden tan when i get back.  The weather is so unpredictable – sometimes sunny and sometimes rainy in this part of the world.  But when the days are sunny it is really so hot that you could burn.  The thing with me i don’t get tan. I burn.  And it’s painful.

I like to look at girls who have an even tone of tan.  So i am hoping one day i will get that.  A friend introduced me to an indoor tanning lotion if i don’t want to be sun burned. I told her that i will try the real sun first before trying the lotion. If i will agree, she will give me the lotion as an early Christmas present.

Another zit!

For almost a month now there’s not much growth of zits on my face.  Thanks to a meatless diet it seems my system is being cleaned up from stored toxins that will cause me flareups anytime.  But now i have one!  It’s not painful but it can be felt and slowly getting bigger.  Id better stop this before it becomes a mole size one.  I need some anti-inflammatory cream or ointment.  I dunno if natural acne pills i found at JVC got that mechanism. I also heard that bananas are natural pimple remedy. By eating tons of banana one will have a smooth face.

I still need to prove that though. But i love bananas!
