Wanna Have a Smooth Fair Skin?

The try these tips.  According to Erin Carson, you don’t need a wad of money to have a smooth and fair skin.  All you need to do is do the following simple beauty rituals:

First is you should wash your face every night with a moisturizing cleanser as this can help remove impurities that clog up the pores.  Second, is you should  use night cream to help the skin repair itself and rejunivate.  Nigh cream works better than daytime creams because body temperature raise lightly at night.  The third, sounds easy but tedious to do at times is – Exfoliate on a regular basis.  If you don’t have a peel, you can use a handful of sugar to rub on a wet skin.  The one should use sunscreen daily, too.  And to eliminate breakouts, one should use acne solutions or by following acne-fighting routine.

Stress and Hairloss

I have friends who lost hair due to stress.  Others will think that is just a hearsay but i can prove it because it is also happening to me.  My hair started to fall out in generous amounts when i had a stressful life in China.  So much that if i won’t sweep my floor 3 times a day my home will be like there’s a dog staying indoors.   I thought that it would improve one day but until now I am still experiencing hair loss.  Good thing I have long hair.  But i have guy friends whom am trying to help.  Their hair are thinning too and some are balding.  So I will let them check out this article on how to prevent hair loss. I really hope this helps.

Stress is part of our everyday life. It can’t be avoided. But it is up to each one on how to handles these stresses. It is up to each one if he or she allows stress to make him or her look not her very best.

Unhealthy Look

I saw a friend the other day who has lost so much weight the past month.  She’s not overweight.  She have her normal weight but due to unknown reasons she had a rapid weight loss since last month.  She lost a total of 10 pounds and skin looks dry and she almost looks like a scarecraw because she only weighs 90 pounds.  She has long hair, sad eyes, and pudgy skin with dark circles. I know she is beautiful but when i saw her yesterday i can’t say she is still beautiful. She lost her natural luster. She still taking care of herself like daily bathing but the abrupt weight loss did make her look so unhealthy.

I told her to see the doctor before things become worst. She does not like to exercise with me to the gym. Am sure she does not like to buy skin cosmetics to make her look a lil bit better. I told her too to eat more fruits and vegetables. Maybe it will help her gain back the lost weight. But really she does not like to eat much these days.

A Beautiful Face

What is a beautiful face to you?  For me, a beautiful face is one that is smiling, or charming, and of course one with smooth skin.   There are many simple ways to do in order for one to have a beautiful skin.  And one of them is taking acne vitamins to prevent acne growth. I am happy to know of these acne vitamins because my daughter got mild acne upon entering pubertyhood. I kept reminding her to take good care of her face (wash several times daily plus not touching her face especially if her hands are dirty).

Good thing my face is already much much better compared to when i still have acne.

The Role of Food to Our Facial Skin

I believe that food plays an important role in having a beautiful facial skin.  Though it is not the only factor but it is one of the many factors that causes pimples and acne to grow.  I have proved that myself.  The more meat i ate, the more big pimples come out.  But the more fresh vegies and fruits i ate, i seldom have those big acne.

In 2001, my face has been attacked by acne. First time in my life that time.  After a year it died out because i took some cleansing pill plus the use of moisturizer and plus a cold weather, my facial skin improved.  When i came back to the Philippines, and always exposed to dust and heat, my pimples came back.  Now i still have lots of acne scars that how i wish my face will just go back to pre-acne days.  Now that i proved that food plays an important role — am more concious of what i eat plus reading the guide for a natural acne treatment then i hope that one day, i will have that flawless facial skin again. :)

10 Beauty Tips {short cut}

Grabbed from Kerslyn.  Thank you, sis!

1) The Fastest Way to Dry Nail Polish

Dunk your hands in a bowl of ice-cold water.

“The cold water freeze-dries polish, sealing and hardening it quickly,” says Belinda Rivera, a nail specialist in Austin, Texas.

Allow nails to air-dry for two minutes, then submerge in ice-cold water for three minutes, which is enough time for the polish to harden completely.

Another option: Blast nails with cool air from a hair dryer in between coats. This helps each layer of color dry as you go.

Quick tip: Old nail polish can take forever to dry, since time can turn polish gooey and thick. Toss bottles when the polish begins to change color or separate. At that point, the lacquer has probably thickened and become unusable.

2) The Fastest Way to Minimize a Facial Flush

Place a cool, wet towel on the back of your neck.

“When your face flushes during exercise, it’s a normal physiological response to your body overheating,” says Lydia Evans, a dermatologist in Chappaqua, New York. “Your blood vessels dilate and increase blood flow to the surface of the skin to cool it, which gives it that red appearance.”

A cold towel on the back of the neck constricts those blood vessels, numbs the nerve endings there, and helps lower your body temperature quickly, says Debra Luftman, a cosmetic dermatologist in Beverly Hills.

Splashing cold water on your face will have the same effect.

Quick tip: Carry a spray bottle filled with cold water to the gym. When you feel your face getting warm, spritz it with water. This will help keep the redness to a minimum.

3) The Fastest Way to Depuff Eyes

“Wrap a bag of frozen vegetables in a thin towel and place it over your eyes for 10 minutes,” says Debra Luftman, a cosmetic dermatologist.

A night of sipping Champagne or eating salty foods can lead to fluid retention around the eyes. The cold of the bag stimulates circulation under the eyes, which helps bring down that fluid. (Why a bag of vegetables? Because it conforms to the contours of the face. Peas or corn works best.)

A soft washcloth soaked in cool chamomile tea will also do the trick, since chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties.

Quick tip: If you know you’ll be drinking alcohol or eating salty foods, be sure to drink lots of water. You’ll be less likely to puff out the next morning.

Quick tip: To help prevent puffy eyes, prop up your head on two pillows when you go to sleep. Gravity is your friend when it comes to fluid retention.

4) The Fastest Way to Soothe Post-Waxing Irritation

Apply a 1 percent hydrocortisone cream, which calms inflammation, quells itchiness, and reduces redness.

The force it takes to pull hairs out from the roots can inflame skin. Lydia Evans, a dermatologist, says, “Since coarse and thick hairs are more stubborn to remove, you’ll probably experience more redness in areas where they grow,” such as the bikini line and the underarms. Delicate spots, like the brows, are also prone to irritation. Apply a pea-size dab of hydrocortisone cream to red zones right after waxing.

Quick tip: Don’t schedule a waxing within three days of the start of your period, when skin tends to be extra sensitive.

5) The Fastest Way to Repair a Torn Nail

Patch it with a tea bag.

Nails can tear for many reasons: They’re weak; they’re soft; they’ve been soaking in water for too long, which softens them further.

Whatever the cause, cut a tiny piece of paper from a tea bag (it should be big enough to cover the entire tear), apply a bead of nail glue to the paper (Krazy Glue works in a pinch), then press it on top of the tear, says Essie Weingarten, founder of Essie Cosmetics.

Allow the glue to dry, then gently file the top of the paper so that it is smooth and flush with the nail. Finish with a layer of base coat, two coats of nail polish, and a topcoat.

Quick tip: Wear rubber gloves when washing dishes or using cleaning products. Water and chemicals can weaken nails and make them more likely to tear.
