Sherwin’s Loaf Delight

This stuff is a vege version of beef loaf. Sherwin used a soy pulp and mix it with flour and eggs and some spices. He then formed it using a plastic molder then steamed the molded ingredients using the rice cooker. Steaming takes 25 minutes and the product is done.

In this photo, the loaf was cut into half inch thick and dipped in eggs and fried. Great for breakfast and also a nice filling for burger.

Double Murdered Eggplant

Entry for

and

I’d like to share with you one of my favorite eggplant recipes.  I love this on weekends when the eggplants are cheap in the market. 1.  Sliced the eggplants thin enough and then fry.

1. slice the eggplant thinly

2. slice and then set aside

After frying, heat some oil and put in onion and garlic.  Diced tomatoes is a plus but it is okey if there is none.

— diced garlice –

–onions –

– diced ripe tomatoes -

Ripe ones are the best as they are juicy.

After they are cooked, add in the fried eggplant.  Then let it simmer.  Then add ketchup or tomato sauce and then season to taste.

Add in the chopped cheese

This is the yummy double-murdered-eggplant topped with cheese.

Next time am gonna do this, i will buy the cheese that is already ready for spreading on the recipe.
