Some medicines can be fatal especially for anyone who does not think that they are allergic to a particular component of a drug. Just this evening, i woke up to the call of a roommate asking me if her bf can come in and lay down in her bed because his whole face was swollen. Of course why not! And indeed his face was really swollen. Almost no more space in the eye slits. After seeing him in that state, i fall asleep again. I was exeperiencing a normal reaction to anti-histamine. I was dead sleepy.

Now I am awake but i can still feel heaviness in my body. But my eyes are not droopy. I just had dinner with them.

In the course of the meal, we talked about how the swell started and good thing the swell did not include his respiratory system. He then remembered that years back he too had an allergic reaction to Ibuprofin and he took one again today because he forgot about that incident.

As of this writing, he looks okey now. He eye slits look better now.

So warning, there might be some of you out there who is allergic to Ibuprofin. If you need to take pain relievers, then use Mefinamic acid.

I had a physical examination done the other day and yesterday. There were several blood tests and other routine tests done, and also chest x-ray and ecg done. Result? Fit to Work but I am treated for urinary tract infection for one week. For sure it’s what i’ve eaten. When in the dorm, i only fed myself with pancit canton. I think the last time i had pancit canton was last Tuesday morning. I just love pancit canton. With that result yesterday, i decided to eat canton sparingly and also eat more fruits and nuts and also take some supplements for women. I think am also at the age where i should take care of myself by taking supplements especially when am nearing my menopausal years.

Oh the antibiotic am taking now is Ciprofloxacin 500 (Proxco) .

Soon i will undergo detoxification but not like the detoxification the Rapid Detox Center is talking about.

I felt being under the weather these past many days.  I tried to alter my moods by going to the gym and also watching nice movies but still i can feel the shadow.

Right now in the dormitory there are two students who are now positive with chicken pox so that means i will  have another set of new sick roommates.  Argh! for the past 2 weeks a sick student was roomed in with me because i was already done with chicken pox.  Yesterday, I admitted one dormitorian and this morning she was diagnosed to have Typhoid based on the lab test.  Oh my gosh, am just scared all dormitorians will be sick soon.  Closing exercises is just a couple of weeks away and i hope the graduating students will not be sick.  We encouraged those who were not yet affected to take some profilaxes or maybe using a protective clothing will help them being prevented from the viral spread.

I really don’t have a good rest since i started working in the dormitory.  I found out that even though am already immune with the chicken pox virus, there is still a possibility of recurrence but on a milder but still a scary case called shingles.   So last night, deep inside, i almost want to cry — i wanna go home.

Dimple is already done with chicken pox but the possibility of acquiring shingles was so much in my mind that i was really mad at her for spending the weekend with me in the dormitory.   Maybe next week i will really beg her not to come so that she will be prevented from any viral disease because her graduation day is just 2 weekends away.

I love to shop in air conditioned stores.  One that is wide and full of products that even if i don’t have to buy, i have a wide space to walk and i can call it as my walking session.  Walking session yet I am also enjoying what my eyes can see.  One thing i like when paying up is the fast move down the counter.  My conclusion is that barcode scanner speeds up the process. The last time i did enjoy malling was the other Sunday and i felt so refreshed at the end of the day. I saw so many things that’s worth buying when one have money to spend.  It is really important to list down the things you want to buy before going shopping or else you can buy things that are not important and will just end up as additional garbage inside our home.
