Last Sunday, I was at Lake Apo with friends and we had this for snacks:

A hearty looking fried banana saba that filled our stomachs and gave us the strength to conquer the highest elevation that surrounds Lake Apo.  Ate Belen, the caretaker of the Alfonso’s rest house did this snacks with loving care.  The meals were nicely prepared and made us really feel at home in that hidden paradise.

One of the nicest home made ice cream i’ve ever tasted.

As much as i want to join many memes all week, I just can’t make it.  I was not daily on FTF and FF but when i have time I make sure I got an entry submitted.  I can’t believe how time flies.  This is my 76th entry to Food Trip Friday and my 57th entry to Food Friday hosted by Mailah.  Thank you sister Willa and Sister Mai for keeping this wonderful memes going on.  It is a highlight of weekend blogging.
