A classmate of my brother came to visit him last week. He just drop by for some tee a tee with my brother. I guess it’s been awhile they haven’t met. They talk about life and my brother discover that his friend is jobless. My brother is jobless but not totally because currently he is working on a daily basis at Holcim. So he encouraged his friend to go and see their classmate who is now working for a big construction company and so for sure they might have some construction jobs vacancy. So when his friend left, he sort of felt happy with a hope that another classmate can help him.

In this times, it is really had to be jobless.

I thank God for my job.

Am still adjusting to the new environment. Not really new because i this office space almost 2 years ago. Two years is already a long time so even though i know how to do the work here – i still adjust because no two places are the same. So at noontime today, i had the chance to go out malling for an hour. Scouting for stuff that I will buy for my daughter when i have enough funds. And surely i saw some sexy costumes that are cute for growing girls like her. Although i dunno if she would love wearing it. If she comes home this Sunday, I will show it to her if she’s ok with it even just for sleeping purposes.

I then realized that if going window shopping can relieve stress, then how much more with shopping? I hope to do some shopping in the soon future. =)

No matter what you shop for as long as you purchase by wholesale of bulk you will be able to save. That is what i put in mind everytime i go grocery. Other places are cheaper compared to my place, but if i just buy a single item then for sure i won’t mind the price difference. But if i buy in bulk i won’t mind spending on a 200 hundred pesos fare and food expenses if i am going to save more a thousand or two on my bulk purchases.

Same thing in paying your debts. If you pay in bulk of course one can save a big deal on interest. So if you can just afford, avoid being in dept in paying interests.  That is the reason why i seldom make loans because interest rates  gives us headache.

Christmas is already over but we shopped today like it’s Christmas.  It’s the closing exercise here in our college this weekend so my boss took the responsibility of picking out the token for the speakers.   It was fun picking gifts for people whom you are not really familiar.  You have to imagine their style of life or their executive style.  You have to consider their work or designation, their workplace, and yes their age.  I think it’s easier to check out insurance quotes online or even asking an insurance agent for quotes than shopping for someone you really don’t know. So we decided to pick a cloth for the male speaker and a nice bag for the lady speaker. Am sure they will love what they will get.

Shopping seems nice to end a busy day.

I feel that it seems many are going away for the holidays.  It’s R & R time for those who are not affected by the financial crisis and those who are not affected by the p0litical situation of this country.  I wish i can get away too to a very far place – very far away where i can’t be reached by any messenger.  Some place like orlando vacation rental which some of my friends have tried in the past holidays. They said it is a deal worth taking. They really had a nice R & R there.

Florida is so far.  So a trip to Boracay or El Nido Palawan would just be perfectly fine.   Christmas holidays are here so it’s time to really relax and and destress from the weeks and months of hard labor.

I can say that the past few weeks are very very stressful week yet we managed to come out of it still sane and smiling.  Everyday busy that i almost have time to blog.  Someone will treat me for a Therapeutic Massage this coming weekend. Actually it is not only me but a couple of other girls. It will be called a girls’ night out so boys are not allowed. My friend has been enjoying the luxury of massage therapy because of what she read in chiq magazines and also tried to read more about it online. Now she is fully convinced that it is ok to destress through massage therapy.

I often said that as much as possible i should avoid being anxious.  I just thought that it’s only the future that we have to anxious about.  So, i vowed not to be anxious.  But now i realized that almost daily in our life, we can be anxious even on little stuff.   If there is one thing that i can be anxious about in the future – it would be a house to stay if ever things will not run smoothly at my end.  I am always praying that somehow i can have my own (rent to own) place.  So when i browsed for apartments i am having idea on what would be the kind of home i want. It does not matter if its big or small, bungalow or in the 37th floor of a building, it does not matter as long as it’s going to be mine.

I also checked out the apartments for San Diego because my cousin just moved to San Diego recently.  Her kid is complaining that their current place is so small compared to their huge house in Washington.

I guess prioritizing is very important to avoid unnecessary anxiety or worry.

I am not a shopaholic but i would accept that am an impulse shopper when am full of stress.  When am not feeling so much good about myself, there would always be more to my shopping list if i go out.  So i can relate when my cousin was whining about shopping list and being her buying the stuff that she thought she would need but ended up just storing them. But not Kettlebell she needs it for her husband so even though she bought it without second thoughts she does not have regrets. She is also sharing the dvds with her brother inlaws.

Last Friday, without a shopping list, i went out to the mall to check out some mobile phones.  Instead of a phone, i purchased me again a new footwear (slip-on). Can be used in church as well as office, too.

For several weeks now i felt so stressed. Work related.  It can’t be avoided so am wishing that one day i could go away for a long vacation.  A vacation where i can’t be accessed by phone or even by internet.  I checked out Myrtle beach vacation rentals and it’s an ideal one for a vacation get-away. I envy my friends who went on a backpacking trip Europe last month.   They really had fun as I have seen in their photos.   They are now back to work  energized.
