oOthers are fun of giving gifts when they arrive from a vacation or any trip. Families from abroad who come home even for a short while make sure that they are bringing something nice for each family member. Most of the gifts they gave away are chocolates. Funny thing the chocolates they are handing out are available in very big supermarkets. But a friend said that a “given chocolate” is the sweetest of all chocolates in the world! Will ya agree with me?

Anyway, last night, there was a bit of commotion in the ladies dormitory. Several girls even the dean herself heard someone walking up the ceiling. The dean said for several night she heard the same sound. I am often in deep sleep when this happens so i can’t really feel what they are feeling. Anyway, we thinking that that someone is a real person because some holes to the ceiling are not yet covered. We suggested that it be covered and have a deadbolt lock placed in the emergency passage so that no maniacs can go up to peep on ladies in the shower or  just plainly changing clothes.

I think it is a scary experience because some will also say that it might not be a real person but a ghost.  A ghost?  I don’t really think that’s possible because why would a ghost peep in the shower ceiling?  Anyway…id rather think on the chocolate that will be given me than that peeping ghost up in the ceiling.

Someone asked me when is the happiest day of a woman’s life.  I dunno what to answer because maybe i haven’t experienced it.  The answer to that is THE WEDDING DAY!  99% of woman is the happiest one on earth during their wedding.  Isn’t that great?  That is why even though I am old now, i still long to have a wedding day one day.  I know there’s a soul mate prepared by God out there for me.  I really believe that.  Time is all that’s needed to make the moment happen.  One day it will happen.  When? I don’t know. Only God knows.

Wedding preparations can cause stress to couples. But if hiring a wedding planner is affordable, they take that options to avoid the stress.  Wedding planners does everything even in the distribution of wedding invitations although the picking of the right style for the invitation is being decided by the couple. Style and color combination are to be picked with care so that the wedding place won’t end up looking like a circus.

I love pastel colors so maybe when i will be wedded i will use lavender mixed with baby pink with a touch of silver.

My daughter and I failed to travel to another place this summer.  So last Tuesday, I decided to take a day off since we are sending off my boss and his wife to the airport for a few days vacation in Manila.   They hired a driver to manage the vehicle back and forth so it was a great chance for me and Dimple to go along – we had the vehicle all to ourselves after the couple left.  I thought we would be exploring Cagayan de Oro on wheels but nah, my daughter wanted to go around the LKK complex.  That’s the only place we went to – we window shop, shop a little, and eat.  One of the shops we passed by was on car dealership and i saw that they were also offering affordable auto insurance quote. I am not so sure how affordable they are because am not so much familiar with them, but will share this info with my boss. He knows better.

I wish i can share some photos we took that day but it’s in my laptop, so allow me to share this photo i took of the place we passed by last Tuesday.  This was taken weeks ago.

I know that Christians all over the world celebrated Easter and devoted ones had a meatless weekend.  We were meatless at home, too.  Even fish there was none.  We only had vegetables and lots of greens (fresh ones) from my mom’s pots and little garden patch.  Her plants gave me the idea on starting having my own vege pots while staying in the dormitory.  I thought of planting, camote tops, alugbati, and spring onions.  Hmm this is just a plan.  I dunno when i can make it materialized.

I missed the gym last Friday morning and also this morning i went out of the house at past 9 to go to the gym but did not make it there.  I got stuck here in front of my pc and talked with a workmate a bit of their Bangkok escapade.  I can’t wait to hear the travel tales of my other workmates — i will meet them on Tuesday yet as am planning to apply for a leave tomorrow for family matters.

I need a visit to the dentist because one of my molars got a slight crack.  There is no pain yet i don’t like to be totally damage for possible painful cavities in the future.  One way to avoid cracks is to refrain from eating hard foods like bones, hardened cookies, and or other hard food stuff.  That’s the advice of my dentist here. My cousin have seen a Plano dentist yesterday and she asked about molar cracks. The dentist also advised her the same.

Inspired by the movie The Terminal i was able to make this last Saturday.  I just used biscuits and corned beef for fillings and i know any filling can do.  It was just out of the blue that i thought of the idea so here are the SB; But before posting the photos, i still need to check out this Cyber Monday. Am sure it’s for the convenience of customers especially online shoppers, so let me check on that.

Yet we still did not have our Christmas tree up. I am having second thoughts because we got a crawling baby in the house. So I am thinking of a baby-friendly decors. Maybe we will just hang a star or paste a greetings decor on the wall. I am going to surely miss my tree this year. This is suppose to be its 5th year. My cousin is happy because she got hers from the artificial christmas trees shop and it’s now up. The tree won’t be caged anymore because her toddle son is sort cooperative now.

In two weeks the first semester will be over.  How time really flies that we just did not realized it and half of the academic year will be over then.  So me and some teachers are planning to have a break.  How i wish that we also have ixtapa deals here in this country so that we can experience the paradise of the pacific coast. I know that traveling alone is not the same as traveling with a group.  I hope to visit this paradise with my friends to release the toxins of working for hard for a long long time.  I know we all deserve a break   Someday…soon.
