Not Feeling Well Again

But am online from the net bar. I just need to because i know i have joined the Friday memes last Friday but failed to leave the links at the main blog. The internet connection was already out before i called it a day. Friday work is just until 3 pm but if there are much to do so i often leave the office at 4 pm. I was browsing through Outer Banks vacation rental because i want to see what my cousin was talking about then page just gave me an error result. Reason? Internet connection cut.

Last weekend i ate a lot of ice cream. Then by Monday i already had sore throat. So Tuesday i did not eat more ice cream anymore. Thursday evening, i just can’t resist the temptation, i ate a glassful of ice cream again! The result now? I got a stuffy nose and sore throat? Yes, sore throat is still here.

Wish me luck, i need to finish my tasks now and then go home and rest.

Inflamed Tonsils

My throat hurts because my tonsils are inflamed! REason? I just had so much sweets during the weekend until the birthday of my nephew the other day and yesterday i also had a glass of buko salad. For sure my tonsils screamed for rest that is why am in pain to swallow now. Am just praying that i won’t have URTI during the weekend.

Because i was not feeling very well since yesterday, i’ve already gobbled several Ascorbic acid and hopefully it will help. Am still active but is experiencing some body pains. With this pain, i feel like not doing my laundry tonight. ‘The sink in our bathroom needs fixing so it’s not so comfy to do the laundry because the sink might fall of anytime. How i wish the replacement would be one like the stone sinks i saw online. They look so cool and neat, too!

They are so adorable. Better check out their whole catalogue because they have so many that you will have a hard time which is so nice.

Under the Weather

I felt being under the weather these past many days. I tried to alter my moods by going to the gym and also watching nice movies but still i can feel the shadow.

Right now in the dormitory there are two students who are now positive with chicken pox so that means i will have another set of new sick roommates. Argh! for the past 2 weeks a sick student was roomed in with me because i was already done with chicken pox. Yesterday, I admitted one dormitorian and this morning she was diagnosed to have Typhoid based on the lab test. Oh my gosh, am just scared all dormitorians will be sick soon. Closing exercises is just a couple of weeks away and i hope the graduating students will not be sick. We encouraged those who were not yet affected to take some profilaxes or maybe using a protective clothing will help them being prevented from the viral spread.

I really don’t have a good rest since i started working in the dormitory. I found out that even though am already immune with the chicken pox virus, there is still a possibility of recurrence but on a milder but still a scary case called shingles. So last night, deep inside, i almost want to cry — i wanna go home.

Dimple is already done with chicken pox but the possibility of acquiring shingles was so much in my mind that i was really mad at her for spending the weekend with me in the dormitory. Maybe next week i will really beg her not to come so that she will be prevented from any viral disease because her graduation day is just 2 weekends away.

Take Care of your Teeth

I need a visit to the dentist because one of my molars got a slight crack. There is no pain yet i don’t like to be totally damage for possible painful cavities in the future. One way to avoid cracks is to refrain from eating hard foods like bones, hardened cookies, and or other hard food stuff. That’s the advice of my dentist here. My cousin have seen a Plano dentist yesterday and she asked about molar cracks. The dentist also advised her the same.

Car Accident Secondary to Stroke

Bad news! My friend’s uncle was rushed to the hospital after some pedestrians took kindness on him while his car stopped in the middle on the highway and he was slumped on his seat. He was driving his car to come home from work then the accident happen. Sad news yet a bit good news because he did not die yet. The next car behind him was driving fast and did not control the breaks that is why the back part of his car is damaged. His family also felt happy because his car insurance can cover the damage.

I offer a prayer for my friend’s uncle and I also relay the news to my family.

Memorable Valentines Date

My friend Daf and Don were married on Valentine’s day last year. So this year, to commemorate their first year anniversary and of course the to celebrate their love, they went on a weekend honeymoon trip to Cebu City. They spent 2 nights at a very posh hotel – and she described the whole trip as heavenly!

Thanks to 5 star hotel category, their honeymoon suite was really a nice room for lovers that they did not have a hard time creating a romantic effect on the setting they love to do – be it rooming in dinner, relaxing time and shower time. Daf brought along with them her favorite floating candles with her favorite aroma oil. Because of very nice shower enclosures their shower moments was very romantic! They had bubble bath with their love theme song playing in the background. She said the celebration was more and more intimate and full of romance compared to their first honeymoon last year. This was like their ideal honeymoon, she added.

I guess their wedding prep stressed them so much that in during their first honeymoon night – they just cuddled together and fall into a deep sleep after everyone left as some close friends came by to wish them happiness.

As i listened to her recounting her worth sharing moments (all moments were worth sharing you know but there’s details that calls for still privacy), i too get excited and can feel the romance in the air.
